of a loss, it is important to contact your agent at

help you begin the claims process, and to provide
information for reporting the claim to your carrier.

For Personal Account assistance,
such as home or auto, select option "1."
For Business or Commercial account
assistance, select option '2.'
Your call will
be forwarded to an agent on duty who is available to assist
you and to provide any additional contact information.

The Claims Process
If
you incur a loss, it is important that it is reported to your
insurance company for handling. They are responsible for
making the determination of whether your policy will apply to the
claim and the amount that may be paid.
Your Part
How quickly a claim is
settled may vary, and depends on multiple factors. In order
to settle claims as quickly as possible, there may be additional
information the insurance company must obtain in order to
process the claim. Please respond promptly to any
communication you receive from the insurance company or our
office. Also, keep copies of any documents that may be
important to settling your claim, such as police reports, receipts
or notes of conversations. It is also important to read your
particular policy to make sure that you are aware of your
responsibility in the event of a loss.
